6×6 CCA-C Treated .60 Timbers Yellow Pine Grade #2 or Better

Our 6×6 posts are kiln-dried before pressure treatment, allowing the preservative to fully penetrate the wood by following the natural grain from the ends of the post. This process ensures 100% sapwood penetration, delivering superior protection and long-term performance.

We use solid 6×6 posts, which are widely preferred for their exceptional strength, durability, and stability. Compared to built-up posts, solid posts provide:

  • Greater load-bearing capacity
  • Improved lateral stability
  • A more substantial, finished appearance

They are especially ideal for in-ground applications, corner posts, and heavy structural loads, as they are less prone to splitting, twisting, or separating over time.

All posts feature a minimum .60 CCA pressure treatment and come backed by a 50-year warranty for long-lasting peace of mind.

Unlike laminated alternatives, our posts are solid with no splices, ensuring consistent strength throughout.

In addition, a solid 6×6 post contains over 22% more wood fiber—with approximately 22% more material compared to three 2×6 boards—providing added strength where it matters most.

Screws attached in flat (vs. ribbed) areas of steel panels:

  • Installing in the rib allows movement around the critical seal area and that movement then compounds the potential for leaks.
  • Installing in the flat area is a tighter, more secure method; there is no gap between steel and wood.
  • A firm, lasting grip maximizes seal effectiveness and strength. Structural integrity and leak resistance are not compromised.
  • Expansion, contraction and wind are constantly stressing the fasteners, trying to work them free. The tight grip of a screw through the flat doesn’t give these forces any leverage, thus preventing roof leaks and the reduction of building strength.
  • When a screw is attached to the flat (instead of ribbed) area of a steel panel, a tighter connection is assured.
  • Since a post-frame building gets much of its strength from the steel panels, the tighter it is attached to the building, the better. Putting screws in the flat of the steel panel provides the tightest and best possible connection.

DripX – Condensation Control

  • DRIPX holds that moisture until conditions go back above the dew point and it is released back into the air in the form of normal humidity.
  • It acts much like a sponge that soaks up the moisture when it appears and releases it as it returns to its humid air state.
  • DRIPX is the world leader in this type of condensation control. It has been on every continent in every climate condition across the globe.
  • Applied directly to the panel at the factory.
  • Smoke Generation and Flame Spread—UL 723 Approved.
  • Noise Reduction—up to 20% of rain noise.
  • DRIPX provides a medium for trapping condensation in the specially designed pockets in the membrane.

Finished Interior with Liner Panel and Insulation

Our buildings feature 29-gauge steel liner panels, a blown-in R-30 insulated ceiling, and 6″ R-19 fiberglass insulated sidewalls—delivering both durability and energy efficiency.

An interior 2×4 framed wall system creates a consistent, flat surface for fastening the steel liner panels. Unlike attaching panels directly to post-frame columns, this method ensures a clean, smooth, and professional interior finish.

Steel liner panels also offer low-maintenance convenience. Their smooth surface is easy to clean with just water or mild soap, while naturally resisting stains, corrosion, and mold—making them an ideal choice for long-lasting performance.
