Construction Crew Foreman (Mason, IL)

Looking for Crew Foreman to lead a crew building post frame buildings, local work, no overnight travel and all tools provided.

This is NOT seasonal work, you will work full time, year round!
Jobs will be within 45 miles of Altamont, IL. Transportation to jobsite is provided.
Monday thru Friday, No Weekends
Hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm (May start earlier in the summer to avoid the heat.)
Not currently working overtime
Salary based on experience and negotiable, Will pay for the right candidate!

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years verifiable work experience in Post Frame Buildings
Leadership experience running a crew is required
Must have a Valid Drivers License
Must be reliable and show up for work everyday!
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and at various heights
Must be able to operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely, efficiently and effectively
Ability to produce Quality work
Ability to work in an efficient manner
Good communication skills
Use of basic math and measuring
Handling of building materials

Responsibilities

Foreman provides professional leadership by creating a safe, organized work environment that is productive and enjoyable
Ensure crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and follow all safety and construction procedures
Organize specific jobs for the crew members
Organize materials and plan for the daily activities
Maximize the overall crew efficiency
Foreman leads by personal example and requires cooperation by all crew employees in timely starts and stops
Foreman can work through and solve issues if they arise
Communicate with the customer if necessary
Foreman works along side crew members not just a supervisor roll
